The Cyprus Regulator fined €20.000 an Administrative Service Provider
The Board of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (‘CySEC’) has issued today an announcement to inform the public that, at its meeting held on 20th November 2017, decided to impose a total administrative fine of €20.000 on the ASP Chesterfield Corporate Services Ltd for noncompliance with:
1. Sections 58(a), 58(c) and 58(e) of the Prevention and Suppression of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Law of 2007, and
2. Paragraphs 5(d) and 9(1)(d) of Directive DI 144-2007-08 of 2012 of the Securities and Exchange Commission for the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing of 2012.
