KPMG report: Man United & Real Madrid are the richest clubs in Europe
United & Madrid top KPMG list
Manchester United and Real Madrid are the most valuable clubs in Europe, according to a study of the 32 most most valuable teams by auditing behemoth KPMG.
Catalan giants Barcelona come in close third whilst big gaps then follow to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in 4th and then Arsenal in 5th.
Ed Woodward will be pleased with the financial findings despite Manchester United’s lack of success since Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure in 2013.
With five Premier League clubs in the top ten, English clubs make up 40 percent of the total value before even taking into account the £5.1 billion television deal that will kick in next season.

Manchester United & Real Madrid – global football brands
Modern football has changed the way the game is promoted to supporters. What happens on the pitch is now less significant than how the club is dealt with off it.
Neither Manchester United or Real Madrid have won a league title between them in the past three seasons but they are the two most valuable clubs on the planet.
They have more fans over the world than any of their rivals and must do everything they can to keep interest in their club as high as possible.
