In Market Making, KCG averaged $27.5 billion dollar volume traded, 5.5 billion shares traded, and 3.5 million trades per day in U.S. equities.
In Global Execution Services:
- KCG electronic execution averaged 279.1 million shares traded per day in U.S. equities
- KCG BondPoint averaged $144.0 million per day in fixed income par value
As for the overall market conditions in May, consolidated U.S. equity volume averaged $255.7 billion in dollar volume and 6.2 billion shares traded per day. The realized volatility for the S&P 500 was 11.0.
In May, there were 20 trading days in U.S. equities and 19.5 trading days in fixed income.
