New appointment on Sucden Financial’s Board of Directors 

Gavin joined Sucden Financial in early 2007 as Director of Information Systems, where he has overseen the company’s internal IT support, infrastructure, trader support and software development departments.

Gavin started his IT career in 1981 and has worked for a number of financial organisations in senior roles, including Fortis Bank as IT Director, Fuji Bank as an Associate Director and for a number of independent software vendors where the primary focus was electronic trading solutions for derivatives.

Michael Overlander Chief Executive, Sucden Financial said, “Gavin has helped steer the advancements and development of Sucden Financial’s in-house trading systems. Given the importance of technology in all aspects of our business, his role as Chief Operating Officer will include responsibility for the firm’s IT and Operations functions, unifying the activities of our front office trading systems, together with those of post trading operations.”
