New ETF: Israeli Equities

IShares ETF offers first-time access to Israel’s capital market.

A new iShares equity ETF from BlackRock’s product offering is tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt now.

The iShares TA-25 Israel UCITS ETF enables investors to participate for the first time in the performance of stock corporations from Israel via Xetra. The TA-25 reference index comprises the 25 largest blue chip companies in terms of market capitalisation that are traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE).

The international derivatives exchange Eurex, part of Deutsche Börse Group, has been offering an index futures contract based on the TA-25 since June 2014.

The product offering on Xetra currently comprises a total of 1,123 exchange traded funds. This selection, together with an average monthly trading volume of around €16 billion, makes Xetra Europe’s leading trading venue for ETFs.
