Clearstream to migrate to T2S in February 2017
he T2S CSD Steering Group (CSG) has confirmed the main migration scenario following the successful test (dress rehearsal) of migration wave 3 participants on 30 and 31 January.
This main migration scenario foresees the migration of Clearstream’s CSDs in Germany and Luxembourg (LuxCSD, run jointly with BCL) in wave 4 on 6 February 2017. The final composition of the migration waves is expected to be confirmed by the ECB Governing Council in mid-March 2016.
Clearstream conducted a first major T2S migration test in November 2015 with excellent results. Clearstream and the other wave 4 participants will start the Community Testing with the participation of customers in July 2016. We are confident that this round of testing will again be successful.
