PwC Legal continues with its investment plans with new senior hires

PwC Legal has today announced the following senior hires:

David Farmer joins PwC Legal’s Pensions team this month, from DLA Piper, where he was a partner for the last three years. David has significant experience in advising employers and trustees on all aspects of pensions law with a particular focus on advising companies (both ongoing and in distressed situations) about the management of their pension liabilities. He began his legal career as a barrister before re-qualifying as a solicitor and has specialised in pensions law since 1998.

Thomas Colmer joins PwC Legal, from Osborne Clarke, where he focused on high growth corporates, financial institutions, entrepreneurs and founders, particularly in the Technology and Life Sciences sectors. He brings over 16 years of experience, leading on domestic and cross-border mergers & acquisitions, private equity, growth and venture capital, joint ventures, and equity capital markets transactions.

These senior hires follows that of Peter Workman from King Wood Mallesons SJ Berwin and Oliver Williams from DLA, both into the M&A team, John Amberton from Baker McKenzie into the Corporate Restructuring team, Juan Crosby from CMS Cameron McKenna into the Technology team, Fraser Sparks from Stephenson Harwood into Pensions and Katrina Cooper from Faegre, Baker Daniels into Immigration.
