Multinational law firm promoted 21 lawyers to partner across its global network

Allen & Overy today announces the promotion of 21 lawyers to partner across its global network. Effective as of 1 May 2016, the promotions are across 12 offices in 11 countries and all the major practice groups in the business.

Well over a quarter (29%) of the new partners are women. Nearly half (10) of the promotions are in the Banking practice followed by Corporate (five), Litigation (three) and one each in International Capital Markets, Real Estate and Tax. Over two-thirds (71%) are based outside London, with seven in the Asia Pacific region, six each from London and Europe and one each in Africa and North America.

The broad spread of locations also underlines the demand we anticipate from clients across our network.
