The International Securities Exchange (ISE), now part of Nasdaq, today reported a combined average daily volume (ADV) of 2.2 million contracts in June 2016 for its three options exchanges: ISE, ISE Gemini, and ISE Mercury. This represents 15.2% of U.S. equity options market share.
Business announcements for the month of June include:
- Nasdaq completed the acquisition of the International Securities Exchange.
- ISE surpassed 50 million contracts traded through Implied Order functionality.
- Trading of multi-legged strategy orders on ISE through Implied Order functionality surpassed 50 million contracts since launch and accounted for 5.2% of all non-crossing, multi-legged contract volume executed on ISE during the month of June.
