The international accountancy firm Mazars announced UK Executive team

Mazars, the international accountancy firm, today announced the appointment of their new Executive team in the UK, effective 15 February 2017.

The announcement follows the recent re-election of Phil Verity as the firm’s Senior Partner in the UK. Phil will be supported by the new Executive team which comprises of Mazars partners Jac Berry, Tim Davies, Alistair Fraser, Nigel Grummitt, Elisabeth Maxwell and Ian Wrightson. The team will commence their positions on 15 February, supporting Phil in his next four-year term. Collectively, the team will be responsible for the further development and implementation of the firm’s UK strategy, ensuring the ongoing excellence and quality for Mazars’ clients and teams.

Three members of the existing Executive have been elected to join the new team for the coming term -Tim Davies, Alistair Fraser and Nigel Grummitt – and three new members have been elected.

Tim Davies is UK Head of Tax, based in London. As part of the new Executive, Tim will dedicate time to helping Mazars further develop its client-centric approach.

Alistair Fraser is UK Chief Operating Officer, based in London. As COO he will lead the operational performance, management and development of the firm.

Nigel Grummitt is UK Head of Financial Advisory Services, based in London. Nigel will continue to focus on developing the firm’s advisory services.

New additions to the Executive team are Jac Berry, Elisabeth Maxwell and Ian Wrightson.

Jac Berry is an Audit and Advisory Partner and UK Head of Quality and Risk, based in London. Her appointment to the UK Executive team is a clear sign of the firm’s unwavering commitment to quality.

Elisabeth Maxwell is currently Managing Partner for the firm’s Southern Region (Sutton, Poole and Bristol offices). Based in Sutton her role will be to further drive innovation throughout the business.

Ian Wrightson is an Audit and Advisory partner and is currently Managing Partner for the Northern Region (Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow and Edinburgh offices). Based in Leeds, he will focus on the development of the firm’s people and culture.
