International Law Firm opens office in Paris

Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, expanded its international presence today by opening an office in Paris, France. Ogletree Deakins’ Paris office broadens the firm’s European footprint, which includes Berlin and London, and is the firm’s third office to open in 2017. Ogletree Deakins opens in Paris with a team of 11 attorneys and legal staff, including partners Karine Audouze and Jean-Marc Albiol. Audouze will serve as managing partner of the Paris office.

“An office in Paris is essential to providing the comprehensive European counsel that our clients have come to expect, and we are very excited to have Karine, Jean-Marc, and the Paris team join our firm to meet the needs of our clients in France,” said Matt Keen, Ogletree Deakins’ managing shareholder.

Karine Audouze joins Ogletree Deakins from Olswang. She has practiced French and international employment law throughout her career, including the first eight years of her practice with Cleary Gottlieb in New York and Paris. She advises clients on hiring and/or terminating senior executives, redundancies, international employee transfers, and employment law issues as part of mergers and acquisitions. She also handles individual and collective employment litigation.

Audouze is secretary of the Discrimination and Equality Law Committee of the International Bar Association and a member of the European Employment Lawyers Association. She regularly presents at international conferences and seminars on a wide range of employment law topics and also lectures regularly on employment law at the University of Montpellier. In addition to French, Audouze is fluent in English and German.

Jean-Marc Albiol joins Ogletree Deakins from Hogan Lovells. He provides strategic advice on numerous complex and sensitive matters including mergers and acquisitions and restructurings of French and international entities. He regularly advises employers on issues related to employee representative bodies, collective dismissals, and staff transfers, and he is also experienced in handling complex litigation.

Albiol has twice been recognized with a Client Choice Award from the International Law Office and Lexology where he was the exclusive winner in the Employment & Benefits category for France. He is a member of the International Bar Association and the European Employment Lawyers Association. Albiol lectures on employment law at Paris II Panthéon Assas University. In addition to French, he is fluent in English.

    I think that what you posted was actually very reasonable.
    However, what about this? what if you were to write a killer
    headline? I am not saying your content isn’t solid, however what

    Market News is kinda boring. You could peek at Yahoo’s front page and note how
    they create article headlines to grab viewers to open the links.
    You might add a video or a picture or two to grab readers interested about what you’ve got to
