AMF lifts the ban against 24option from providing financial services in France
The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) has issued an announcement to inform that the Authority lifts the ban against Rodeler limited (“24option”) from providing financial services in France.
According the announcement:
Because of the non-compliance with certain professional obligations and in application of Article 62 of MiFID, the AMF decided on 1, August 2016 to ban Rodeler Limited (regulated by the Cypriot financial regulatory agency) from providing services to both new and existing clients in France.
This provider was then offering in France access to binary options, particularly Forex, through the website http://www.24option.com/fr.
Considering measures taken by the provider to address the situation, the AMF announces its decision to lift the ban. This decision takes effect on 3 July 2017.
