CySec imposes administrative fine to Mega Εquity Securities & Financial Services Public Ltd
The Council of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission informs the investors that after its meeting on the January 20, 2014, has decided to impose an administrative fine to KEPEY Mega Εquity Securities & Financial Services Public Ltd as follows:
The fine of € 2.000 for violation of Article 114 of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2007, as in force. The infringement of the Company is about the untimely submission of audited financial statements.
For the imposition of this fine, the Commission has taken into account the appropriate Laws, the datelines for submitting the audited financial statements as well as the importance of KEPEY in submitting on time their financial statements. However, CySec beared in mind the difficult financial situation in Cyprus during 2013 before imposing the fine.
