MFIs Deposits and Loans Statistics
The Central Bank of Cyprus releases today the MFIs deposits and loans statistics for the reference month of June 2014, which are included in the July 2014 edition of Monetary and Financial Statistics.
Total deposits in June 2014 exhibited a net decrease of €370,3 million, as compared with a net increase of €320,9 million in May 2014. The annual growth rate stood at -5,7% as compared with -7,4% in May 2014. The outstanding amount of deposits reached €46,5 billion in June 2014.
Total loans in June 2014 exhibited a net increase of €438,7 million, as compared with a net decrease of €125,0 million in May 2014. The annual growth rate stood at -8,4% as compared with -9,3% in May 2014. The outstanding amount of loans reached €61,4 billion in June 2014.
