CySec and FSC warn against LiveFX

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySec) and the FSC Mauritius have recently been made aware that LiveFX is displaying a fraudulent copy of an Investment Dealer, Full Service Dealer (excluding underwriting) Licence portraying the logo FSC Mauritius which is accessible on this website.

The address is incorrectly stated insofar as the address of the FSC Mauritius reads as FSC House 54 Cybercity Ebene Republic of Mauritius. However, the address on the fraudulent licence appears as FSC House 54 Cybercity Ebene Republic of Cyprus.

As a result, both CySEC and the FSC Mauritius inform the public that LiveFX is not and has not at any time been licensed by the CySEC or the FSC Mauritius.

More particularly, ‘LiveFx Trader’, is not permitted to provide investment and ancillary services in the Republic of Cyprus, pursuant to Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law, as:

i. It has never been authorized by the Commission.
ii. Ιt is not a bank or a cooperative firm or a company, established in the Republic and authorised to provide such services.
iii. No notification has been received by a competent authority of another Member State, pursuant to sections 77 and 80 of the above mentioned Law.

The CySEC and the FSC Mauritius therefore urge the public to exercise caution in respect to LiveFX.
