TEB Launches Digital Bank CEPTETEB
In order to provide ever more simple experiment and in tune with the needs of its customers, TEB launches CEPTETEB. This new digital bank offers services such as peer 2 peer money transfers and withdrawals without a credit card machine, among others.
CEPTETEB aims to attract nearly 500 000 customers in the next 5 years.
The Turkish market offers great potential for online banks, regarding to the youth of the Turkish population. Nearly 60% of Turkey are under the age of 35. If the penetration rate of digital banking is still low, notably because of a poorly developed computer equipment, mobile offers great opportunities.
Especially since the first generation of “digital natives” Turkey will soon enter the labor market. Their lifestyle, as well as their appetite for digital, take the turning to digital banks, as is the case in many other countries.
CEPTETEB is positioned in the galaxy digital bank of BNP Paribas, with Ni in Hao China, BGZ Optima in Poland, and Hello Bank.
