BDO USA Revenues exceed US$1 Billion Mark 

BDO USA posted a 26% rise in annual revenues for the fiscal year ended 30 June 2015, growing to US$1.05 billion from US$833 million last year. It marks the first time the firm has passed US$1 billion in revenues.

All of the firm’s business lines contributed to this growth, in particular the consulting and advisory practice, which experienced a 51.4% increase. BDO’s tax practice also grew – by 29.9% – while the assurance practice added a healthy 17.5%. The consulting and advisory business represents 16% of BDO USA’s total revenues, with tax and assurance contributing 32% and 52% respectively.

An impressive thirteen expansions in the past three years have seen the firm add nearly 2,000 staff members. Many of these were from firms that rank among the 100 largest in the country, with at least $30 million in revenue. Furthermore, BDO has led all US firms in public company client gains for two consecutive years.  The firm’s net increase of 97 SEC clients in 2013 and 2014 was more than three times the gain of any other firm.
