GMO CLICK Holdings, Inc., a leading online financial service provider in Japan, announced the first quarter financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2016 with revenue of 7.83 billion Yen, up 63.6% from last year.

Financial Results Highlights (From April 1, 2015 to June 30, 2015)

  • Revenue of 7.83 billion Yen, up 63.6% from last year
  • Net profit of 1.82 billion Yen, up 94.8% from last year

Although personal consumption situation in Japan was still subject a degree of uncertainty in the first quarter, with benefited from the weakening of Japanese Yen, the improvements of financial performances and employment situations in export business have helped the recovery of Japanese economics.

Meanwhile, GMO CLICK has continued to hold various promotion campaigns. In addition, we have released a CFD trading mobile app and started to provide binary option trading on the issuing day of Nikkei 225 Weekly Option. We strive to provide a better trading environment to our clients for them to trade FX conveniently. Under these measures, our customer base has showed a new record. As at June 30, 2015, there were 253,164 securities trading accounts (with an increase of 4.62% compared to March 31, 2015) and 406,035 FX trading accounts (with an increase of 3.04% compared to March 31, 2015).
