FCA UK warns on clone and unauthorised financial services Firms

The Financial Conduct Authority UK has issued press releases to inform public regarding a clone firm and firms that the Authority believes that have been providing financial services without FCA’s authorisation.

Specific, FCA reports that fraudsters, through the clone firm Techkredit Limited T/A www.quickwage.co.uk, use details of a FCA authorised firm to try to convince people that they work for a genuine, registered firm.

FCA urges people to deal only with financial firms that are authorised by the Authority.

Further to the above clone firm, FCA warns public to be cautious regarding firms that have been providing financial services or products in the UK without FCA’s authorisation.
