smartTrade Technologies, a global leader of multi-asset end-to-end trading solutions, announces today that the company has successfully undergone a Service Organization Control (SOC 2) audit examination. The engagement was performed by McGladrey LLP.

McGladrey LLP, a leading U.S. provider of assurance, tax and consulting services, conducted its examination in accordance with attestation standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

For smartTrade the objective of the SOC2 audit was to examine the description of smartTrade Technologies’ Liquidity Management System and the suitability of the design of the controls to meet the following principles:

  • Security: The system is protected against unauthorized access (both physical and logical).
  • Availability: The system is available for operation and use as committed or agreed.
  • Processing Integrity: System processing is complete, accurate, timely, and authorized.
  • Confidentiality: Information designated as confidential is protected as committed or agreed.
