ECB announces decrease on the deposit facility interest rate
The European Central Bank (ECB) has issued a press release to inform regarding its Monetary policy decisions at today’s meeting.
According to the press release, ECB decided that:
The interest rate on the deposit facility will be decreased by 10 basis points to -0.30%, with effect from 9 December 2015.
The interest ratedecreased interest rate on the main refinancing operations and the interest rate on the marginal lending facility will remain unchanged at 0.05% and 0.30% respectively.
