Cypriot bank deposits rise in December 2015
Total deposits in Cypriot banks recorded in December 2015 a net increase of €203,0 mln, compared with a net decrease of €67,9 mln in November 2015.
According to data by the Central Bank of Cyprus, the annual growth rate stood at 0.2%, compared with 0.1% in November 2015. The outstanding amount of deposits reached €46 bln in December 2015.
Total loans in December 2015 exhibited a net increase of €307.7 mln, compared with a net decrease of €493.2 mln in November 2015. The annual growth rate stood at -3.4%, compared with -3.2% in November 2015. The outstanding amount of loans reached €62.8 bln in December 2015.
