Three EY firms have expanded their legal services offerings

  • Former Norton Rose Fulbright partner joins EY Law LLP in Canada to lead Business Law team
  • New legal services practices established in Chile and Argentina

Three EY firms have expanded their legal services offerings, further strengthening their ability to meet growing client demand in their respective countries of Canada, Chile and Argentina.

Anthony Kramreither has joined EY Law LLP in Canada, to lead its Business Law team. Anthony joins EY from Norton Rose Fulbright where he was a partner in the Corporate and Commercial practice based in Toronto.

With more than 20 years’ experience, Anthony is now working closely with other EY teams to provide a range of legal advice including corporate reorganizations and M&A. He will strengthen and support Canada’s expanding transaction law practice.

In Chile, Paola Bruzzone – former Lewin & Co partner and General Counsel for department store chain Falabella – has joined Ernst & Young Ltd a to lead their newly established Legal Services group. The Chilean law practice will initially focus on core offerings around corporate and commercial law, M&A and employment law.

In April 2016, Jorge Garnier, former White & Case LLP international attorney and General Counsel for Argentinian energy company Genneia S.A., joined Ernst & Young, Pistrelli, Henry Martin y Asociados SRL to build a new team focusing on corporate law services in close collaboration with multidisciplinary EY teams. Both Paola and Jorge bring extensive experience in M&A to their respective practices.

The Global EY Law offering now comprises around 1,700 practitioners in member or allied firms across 73 countries.
