More than 25,000 students registered to study ACCA-X in its first Month in China

Just one month since its launch in China, the innovative online programme ACCA-X run by ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in partnership with XuetangX has seen the enrolment of more than 25,000 students. The registration numbers, surpassing expectations show the great interest for high quality accounting and business courses offered online.

ACCA-X courses provide an opportunity to gain business and accountancy skills and are offered through China’s innovative XuetangX learning platform. Supported by Mandarin speaking tutors, the courses are mobile-friendly, are available anytime online and are designed to assist individuals to gain financial literacy.

Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) from XuetangX are attractive to students in China as they are free and provide high academic standards. ACCA has been using the MOOCs platform for several years not only to prepare students for their exams but also to increase access to accountancy and finance education.

ACCA-X courses provide access to exceptional learning increasing employability and education opportunities in accountancy, business and finance. The two free courses launched on September 19 have been well received by Chinese students, especially the introductory course which now has more than 25,000 students enrolled in the intermediate course.
