International Law firm announced innovative associate remote working program

Morgan Lewis

Morgan Lewis has announced a Remote Working Program for associates in the firm’s US and UK offices. The initiative will leverage technological advancements to allow eligible associates to spend one or two days weekly working remotely while continuing to provide best-in-class client service. The program launches on May 1.

The program follows a highly successful and extensive beta test, which confirmed continued and strong associate productivity, availability, and engagement from participants. As a global law firm, Morgan Lewis lawyers work seamlessly across time zones and geographies with clients and colleagues every day. The same state-of-the-art technology and commitment to client service allows lawyers to work remotely as the beta test successfully established.

Firm Chair Jami McKeon said, “Our clients have long recognized the value and effectiveness of remote working programs, and we know these programs work well. It is well established that they provide significant benefits for the individuals without any reduction in the quality or level of service. Our experience reinforces that wisdom.”

Amanda Smith, the firm’s associate talent partner, noted, “The Remote Working Program will provide additional flexibility without sacrificing any productivity or engagement with our clients or the firm, and will help us to continue to attract and retain top associate talent.”
