Investors Alert: The Cyprus financial regulator issued warnings

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has issued warnings to inform investors that the websites binatex.com and primustrades.com have not been authorised by CySEC, and the company Brisk Liquidity Ltd through the website www.briskliquidity.nz, uses the name of the Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) Globia Wealth Ltd (License No. 318/17), while it has no relationship with the CIF.

CySEC informs investors that the website binatex.com, does not belong to an entity which has been granted an authorization for the provision of investment services and/or the performance of
investment activities, as provided for in Article 5 of Law 87 (I)/2017.

The information linked to CySEC’s logo contained in the aforementioned website that: “Re-registration is in progress” does not reflect the situation and is misleading.

CySEC informs investors that the website primustrades.com (Primus Trade), does not belong to an entity which has been granted an authorization for the provision of investment services and/or the performance of investment activities, as provided for in Article 5 of Law 87 (I)/2017.

The information contained in the aforementioned website which states that its management and agreements with customers for the provision of investment services are made by/with B.O. TradeFinancials Ltd, may not correspond to reality.

CySEC would like to note that B.O. TradeFinancials Ltd, which was licensed to provide investment services (License No. 216/13), voluntarily withdrew its license on 21.2.2018.

  • Brisk Liquidity Ltd

CySEC informs investor about the following regarding “Brisk Liquidity Ltd” (the Company):

  1. The Company, through the website www.briskliquidity.nz, uses the name of the
    Cyprus Investment Firm (“CIF”) Globia Wealth Ltd (License No. 318/17), while it has no
    relationship with the CIF.
  2. The Company does not hold a license from CySEC for the provision of investment
    services and/or investment activities, as provided for in Article 5 of Law 87 (I) / 2017.

CySEC urges investors to consult its website (www.cysec.gov.cy), before conducting business with investment firms, in order to ascertain the entities which are licensed to provide investment services and/or investment activities.
