CySec: Amendment of Directive regarding Certification and public register
The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySec) has issued an announcement to inform all interested parties that the Directive regarding the Certification of employees and the public register (R.A.D. 499/2012) («the Directive») has been amended in regards to the passing grade of the exams.
In particular, the passing grade has changed from 50 points to 60 points.
According to subparagraph 1 of paragraph 13 («Examination success») of the Directive:
«(1) The maximum grade for each examination of paragraph 9 is one hundred (100) points and the minimum grade is zero (0). A successful candidate is the person who has acquired at least 60 points in each examination of paragraph 9. »
The present amendment is in force from Friday 17th October 2014, the date of its publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic (Annex Three, Part I, no. 4826).
