CySec: publication of Directives
The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySec) informs those market participants concerned, that, on October 17th 2014, the following Directives were published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Cyprus, Third Annex Part I:
(a) R.A.D. 467/2014, pp. 2428-2478, “Directive DI131-2014-01, regarding the procedure of granting an Alternative Investment Fund operation license”, (the “AIF Directive”);
and
(b) R.A.D. 468/2014, pp. 2479-2519, “Directive DI131-2014-02 regarding the terms and conditions of operation of Alternative Investment Funds with a Limited Number of Persons and the procedure of granting an AIFLNP operation license.”, (the “AIFLNP Directive”).
The Directives are available in the Greek language, on the Commission’s official website.
An English translation of the Directives shall be provided as soon as reasonably possible.
The contents of both Directives shall be outlined in Circulars to be issued by the Commission shortly.
The present Directives entered into force on Friday 17th October 2014, the date of publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Cyprus.
