New ETF: offers first-time access to euro zone equities with currency hedging against US dollar

New exchange-listed equity index fund has been tradable since Thursday.

The UBS ETF – MSCI EMU Hedged USD UCITS ETF (USD) A-dis gives investors the opportunity for the first time to track the performance of the equity markets in the European Monetary Union (EMU) in US dollars and to benefit at the same time from any appreciation of the US dollar against the euro. The index currently comprises 238 stock corporations from the following ten countries: Belgium, Germany, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal and Spain.

The ETF product offering of Deutsche Börse currently comprises a total of 1,043 exchange traded funds. This selection, together with an average monthly trading volume of around €11 billion, makes Xetra Europe’s leading trading venue for ETFs.
