HSBC launches review into moving HQ from UK
British bank HSBC said Friday it was looking into whether it should move its headquarters from the U.K., following regulatory changes in the banking sector.
The question about where to base its headquarters was a complex one and it was too soon to say how long the process would take, HSBC Group Chairman, Douglas Flint, said.
Earlier this week, HSBC CEO Stuart Gulliver signalled that the London-based bank may consider whether it should keep its headquarters in the British capital.
