KCG releases September 2015 Trade Volumes
KCG Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: KCG) has issued a press release to inform in relation to trade volumes for the month of September 2015.
In Market Making, KCG averaged $30.3 billion dollar volume traded, 4.9 billion shares traded, and 3.9 million trades per day in U.S. equities.
In Global Execution Services:
- KCG electronic execution averaged 312.8 million shares traded per day in U.S. equities
- KCG BondPoint averaged $131.1 million per day in fixed income par value
As for the overall market conditions in September, consolidated U.S. equity volume averaged $286.4 billion in dollar volume and 7.3 billion shares traded per day. The realized volatility for the S&P 500 was 22.4.
In September, there were 21 trading days in U.S. equities and in fixed income.
