ESMA updates list of authorised CCPs
The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has published an update of its list of central clearinghouses (CCPs) which are authorised under the European Markets Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR).
The last update concerns CME Clearing Europe which has been authorised to extend its activities and services to clear futures on European Union allowances.
The Central Counterparties (CCPs) listed on the link list of central clearinghouses (CCPs) authorised to offer services and activities in the Union in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 648/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 July 2012 on OTC derivatives, central counterparties and trade repositories (EMIR).
The list of central clearinghouses (CCPs) published by ESMA in accordance with Article 88(1) of EMIR.
