Joseph Ahearn named COO by TradingScreen Executive Committee
Joe Ahearn, co-founder of TradingScreen, has been named Chief Operating Officer by the TradingScreen Executive Committee. In this role, Joe will focus on optimizing the interaction between sales and technology while unifying the product strategy and product delivery to ensure the best customer experience. Effective immediately, his responsibilities will include Product Management, Project Management, Production Support, Marketing and Corporate Communications, Market Data Vendor Relationships, Office Management and International Real Estate.
Joseph Ahearn’s Bio
Prior to his initial role as CTO and TradingScreen co-founder, Joe held a variety of positions at Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) for over 14 years. As Director at CSFB, Joe was responsible for front office e-commerce trading application development and Internet based application development. As the Chief Technology Officer of CSFB’s PrimeWorld family of e-commerce financial products, Joe built and managed electronic trading systems for all major financial markets. In 1987, Joe joined CSFB’s Equity Technology Group in Tokyo where he built program-trading applications, electronic exchange connectivity and launched the first Straight Through Processing engine in Japan.
