CySec: consultation by ESMA
The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission would like to draw the attention of Issuers with securities admitted to trading on the Cyprus Stock Exchange or any other regulated market, their shareholders and other stakeholders, to the Consultation launched by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), with reference number ESMA/2014/300, on Draft Regulatory Technical Standards on major shareholdings and indicative list of financial instruments subject to notification requirements under the revised Transparency Directive.
The said consultation includes ESMA’s proposals in relation to the Regulatory Technical Standards that ESMA is required to submit to the European Commission by 27 November 2014, on the above issues under the revised Transparency Directive.
