Stock futures were mixed Thursday ahead of the opening bell.

Asian markets were also mixed, with Japan Nikkei 225 down 44.14 points, or 0.29%, to 15,284.42 while Hong Kong’s Hang Sen index gained 145.36 points, or 0.61%, to 24,117.23 and the Shanghai Composite rose 26.57 points, or 1.28%, to 2,105.06.
European benchmarks all traded lower, with Britain’s FTSE 100 down 0.25%, Germany’s DAX down 0.42% and France’s CAC-40 down 0.12%.
