Suspension of payments for Assya Asset Management Luxembourg S.A.
Luxembourg’s financial regulator has issued an announcemnt that in accordance with Article 60-2 of the law of 5 April 1993 on the financial sector, the company ASSYA ASSET MANAGEMENT LUXEMBOURG S.A. has filed an application for suspension of payments with the Tribunal d’arrondissement (Luxembourg district court), sitting in commercial matters, on 24 October 2014.
ASSYA ASSET MANAGEMENT LUXEMBOURG S.A. is an investment firm within the meaning of Article 1 of the law of 5 April 1993 on the financial sector and carries out activities as investment advisor, broker in financial instruments, commission agent and private portfolio manager pursuant to Articles 24, 24-1, 24-2 and 24-3 of this law.
The filing of the application by ASSYA ASSET MANAGEMENT LUXEMBOURG S.A. entails, ipso jure, for ASSYA ASSET MANAGEMENT LUXEMBOURG S.A., and pending a final decision on the application, suspension of payments by said institution and prohibition, under pain of being declared void, to take any measures other than protective measures, unless otherwise authorised by the CSSF or provided for in the law.
