KPMG has been named a Leader in the Forrester Research, Inc. report, The Forrester Wave™: Mobile Enterprise App Services Providers – Midsize Providers, Q1 2015. The report is intended to help companies select the right midsize partner to design, develop and deliver B2E (“business-to-enterprise”) and B2B (“business-to-business”) employee and partner-facing mobile enterprise applications. This marks the second time in a month the KPMG global network has been recognized as a leader by a major independent research firm. In March, IDC MarketScape named KPMG a worldwide leader in Digital Enterprise Strategy Consulting.

“KPMG emerged as the lone market leader in our midsized firm analysis due to a balance of mobile design, development and QA capabilities, coupled with deep end-to-end business consulting services and enterprise integration services,” the Forrester Research report stated. “KPMG has a particular focus on user-centric design and uses a number of proprietary design and requirements elicitation techniques and tools to deliver enterprise apps with consumer-grade experiences.”

“We see the ‘Age of the Customer’ as a catalyst to increasing expectations of enterprise mobile experiences. Businesses must have actionable strategies to deliver consumer-grade experiences that meet these high expectations,” said Lynne Doughtie, vice chair, U.S. Advisory, KPMG. “Success in such a paradigm shift means having capabilities around customer experience, technology integration, channel management, creating new and effective organizational structures, and people and change management to deliver on digital transformation.”

“The next phase will be defined by how well organizations adapt and change their business and operating models,” added Doughtie.

According to the Forrester report: “Like a number of the large global technology providers we reviewed in the ‘The Forrester Wave: Mobile Enterprise App Services Providers — Large Providers,’ KPMG has added to its practice through aggressive acquisition of design skills and mobile development talent. The result: a balanced, blended firm with very flexible pricing models, and high customer satisfaction scores.”

“Increasingly, KPMG professionals around the world are working with clients to integrate mobile into their transformation strategies and global expansion plans,” said Bryan Cruickshank, Global Head of IT Advisory, KPMG International. “This can be challenging to get right and expensive to get wrong. To be named a leader in this area we believe confirms clients’ confidence in the abilities of KPMG professionals to meet their needs.”

The Forrester report noted, “KPMG secured a narrow market leadership position among the midsize service providers we reviewed, due to a well-balanced approach to mobile app design and delivery, with strong end-to-end business consulting and integration service capabilities.”

“This emphasis on the enterprise makes high-velocity delivery of transformational experiences an imperative for driving the business forward,” said Dave Wolf, Managing Director, KPMG LLP (US) and former VP of Cynergy, the digital and mobile experience company acquired by KPMG LLP U.S., approximately a year ago. “Our ability to uncover employee needs and motivations and incorporate them into the design, development, and delivery of immersive experiences to solve enterprise-wide business problems is what differentiates us.”
