KPMG announced that two client service teams were the recipients of two awards from the Association of Management Consulting Firms (AMCF). Now in its fourth year, the AMCF Awards are given to projects that best illustrate how consulting teams add value to their clients’ organizations and society at large.

“Again this year, we have been recognized for our dedication to client service through the AMCF Awards program and are honored to have been chosen as the winner in two exciting categories,” said Mark A. Goodburn, Global Head of Advisory, KPMG. “Being recognized as a leader in IT and New & Digital Media is directly aligned with our focus on leading the digital transformation discussion with our clients.”

KPMG, along with the Jacksonville Transportation Authority, won the Information Technology award for their work to modernize the client’s  finance, accounting, treasury, revenue, procurement, inventory/materials, asset management, grants and HR functions to a best-in-class Oracle-based solution that integrated and automated many underlying processes.

The judges commented, “This project stood out to me not only because of the scope of the technology issue KPMG needed to solve, but also because of their common sense approach to ensuring the existing business could continue functioning while the new technology was being implemented.”

The New & Digital Media win came for KPMG’s work with Lloyd’s Banking Group to implement a single-sourced system to cut across three customer channels and roll out a more consistent customer experience across its 2,250 branches, 4,500 telephone banking agents and online/mobile banking platforms.

According to the judges, “KPMG excelled by successfully managing a complex technology project that also involved daunting change management challenges – and that helped its client prepare for a digital future.”

KPMG was also selected as a finalist in the following categories:

  • Corporate Social Responsibility
  • Developing Markets
  • Finance/ Risk Management
  • Operating Model Design
  • Supply Chain

The AMCF Awards are chosen by an independent panel of judges who assess the quality of each submission and rigorously evaluate them against detailed selection criteria in 13 different categories.  The AMCF honored the winners on 14 May 2015 at a gala held at the Current at Chelsea Piers in New York City.
